Summer Camps at JPCC
8:30 a.m to 3 p.m.

Summer camps at the Jim Parsley Community Center (JPCC)  will have a new look. Each week campers participate in action packed adventures. Learn about  plant science, making healthy snacks, lifeguarding, babysitting, S.T.E.A.M, sports, different cultures and more! Camp hours are 8:30 a.m to 3 p.m.

Registration deadline is the Wednesday before class starts. Camps have limited space availability. Late registrations will be accepted if space is available for a $15 additional fee. There is no waitlist available for these camps.

Registration fee includes all supplies, rock wall climbing, snacks, big group games, lunch, and afternoon swim each day. If your child has FOOD ALLERIGIES, please send your child with a sack lunch.

Participants will need to bring a water bottle, swimsuit, towel and closed-toe shoes.  Late pick-up fee $5 for every 5 minutes.

There is a $25 fee for cancellation less than five business days before camp starts.

Youth Camps (ages 7–10 years)

Session 1: June 27–July 1 (Monday–Friday)(FULL)

Around the Garden – $150  
It’s not too late to plant! Grow some of your own veggies this summer. Learn how to grow fresh food
in your own backyards or patios. Topics include:  planting seeds, garden art, nature hunt, plant science and more! All campers will swim in the afternoon!

Session 2: July 5–8 (Tuesday – Friday) (FULL)

Kitchen Fun – $130  
Come explore making fun and healthy snacks using simple kitchen appliances. Campers will partner with Baby Sitters’ Boot Camp to make healthy snacks and play games together. All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Session 3: July 11–15 (Monday – Friday)(FULL)

Tropical Vacation – $150
Come explore the tropical islands with us! Campers will explore different cultures including foods and crafts. All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Session 4: July 18–22 (Monday – Friday)(FULL)

STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) – $150
Combine STEM with arts. Campers will explore science, engineering, art, coding unplugged and more! All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Session 5: July 25–29  (Monday – Friday)(FULL)

Sports – $150
Campers will play different sports through out the week and partner with Baby Sitters’ Boot Camp in friendly competitions. All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Tween Camps (ages 11–15 years)

Session 1: July 5–8  (Tuesday – Friday)

Baby Sitters’ Boot Camp -$140 
Learn CPR/AED, first aid and safety. Discover new games, recipes, and activities to entertain small children during babysitting jobs. Learn how to feed, dress and change an infant’s diaper with confidence! Campers will pair with the younger camp to practice their new skills while making fun snacks and playing games. Certification for CPR/AED /First Aid provided upon passing final test. All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Session 2: July 11–15  (Monday – Friday)

Jr. Lifeguard – $160 
Are you interested in learning about becoming a lifeguard? Then this camp is for you! See what it takes to make sure swimmers are safe. Students will practice real-life skills used by lifeguards, including CPR and rescue drills. All Campers will receive CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications upon passing final test. All campers will swim in the afternoon.

Session 3: July 25–29  (Monday – Friday)

Baby Sitters’ Boot Camp -$160
